Moments of cuteness...

You've got to love it when you capture just the simple moments in life! Like waking up Sunday morning to Kaley having Preschool class in her room with her favorite stuffed animals. She even showed me how she had Paige's (the dolphin) birthday on the calendar. She said it was a lucky day for them because she had such a fun book for reading time. Too cute!

She even had "Pinky Boo" in on the class (her prize for all her help, or her attempt to help we should say, at the store the night before :})
"Look at what I can do Mommy!"

Meanwhile, Dylan is re-enacting his punt return play from the day before where he ran for over 40 yards & got his first touchdown of the season! (of course, the one game I don't have my camera & Doug's video camera battery died right before it!) He was so pumped up after that, it was too cute. Way to go Dylan! :}

Walking in on the boys who have just sucked the helium out of my birthday balloons. (OK, I'm really not promoting this; but, you know, what can I do?!)
I love our little stinkers!! :}

Go Jazz Go!

Though still in Pre-Season, the NBA is under way once again! And we love that Cal so kindly offers up his seats to us quite often! It just so happened this night was my birthday, and since we really didn't have any other plans (since I was just trying to forget about it this year :}), it worked out well that he had a couple extra this night. Happy Birthday to me! :} It's nice that they also happen to be on the 3rd row (or 7th, which are his other seats..still great either way!), so you feel like you're right in on the action!

The Security guy here, Ron, goes way back with Cal (with Father/Grandfather starting business together) & being some of the original season ticket owners. Silly Bear!
How's that for an action shot?!
Though it is thrilling to see our fellow Utes man, Andre Miller, in action again, we just can't cheer for him like we used to when he's playing for the other team! :}
Cal giving us a wave

And they win 99-96. Way to go Jazz!! Bring on the official new season!!

Mellis turns 40 (FINALLY! :})

I only say FINALLY because she was the youngest of our class, after transferring from Park City, who started later. Though I recall she didn't like that when it came time to get our licenses (of course, she never had to worry about it since the rest of us were driving); but, she's always had the upper hand at "being younger than the rest of us!" :) Oh, I luv Mellis...glad I could celebrate it with her. I just have to wonder how, exactly, 27 years have gone by since we 1st met?!
I love seeing Mellis & her mom, Mary....who practically adopted me & the other Melissa as teenagers, since we were ALWAYS at their house! :}
Still trying hard to remain a Seattle Seahawks fan, a warm Snuggy might help! :}
Missy & her daughter, Marly
Trying to find which picture didn't belong...
Playing a little "Whip It" in the garage. Too funny!
Though she was pretty good at it! :}
Personally, I haven't tried in about 30 years & I think I would hurt myself if I tried again...soooo, didn't happen! Fun times! :}

Stephanie gets married!

Our little Steph, one of our devoted Jazzercise students, recently tied the knot. She's adorable, and those two together is just pure cuteness! Kaley was thrilled to join me to see "The Princess Bride"...she couldn't give her enough hugs! :} And of course she looked absolutely gorgeous! :}
Watching their car get trashed...including lots & lots of saran wrap! :}

Oh, young love is so exciting! :}

A Beautiful Autumn Afternoon at Ruth's Diner

First of all, you have to love the changing of the leaves at this time of year! It's absolutely gorgeous! And you also have to love any chance you get to spend time with your dear friends! Especially when they've moved out of town so you don't get quite as many chances! :} Natalie coming in town gave us a good excuse for an afternoon at Ruth's Diner (which is The Bomb...love that place!)

Despite the 2 hour wait! Unfortunately some couldn't stay quite that long; but, I didn't mind. It gave us plenty of time to chat & catch up a little! These two, Nicholas & Kaley, were so cute together. They kept each other entertained while their Moms gabbed away! :} Kaley just had to get some of her own pics!...She was so attached to Natalie....she loves my girls too! :}
