Celebrating Mom's Birthday

We thought having a game night on Grandma's Patio was a great way to celebrate Mom's Birthday. Who knows if we'll get many more chances to do this now. It's been a place of many happy memories over the years!
The sense of humor runs in the family, that's for sure! :}
We thought we'd teach them a little "Left, Right, Center". Playing for Reese's...couldn't lose this one! (which I didn't by the way! :)).
Oh how Dylan makes me laugh! :)
Same with this cooky brother of mine! :)
Kaley asked if the was the "Leaning Tower or Reeses" :}
Always glad to have quality Family Time together!
 Deep in thought :}
Glad Anjila could make it during her visit back to Salt Lake this weekend
Gotta love your cousins! :)
Family Photo Shot on the infamous old recliner chair (it's been there many years!). Love our silly Mom! :}
Hope you had a Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma! We love you!!

The value of a photograph

While going through many pictures in the past 24 hours, it truly warms my heart to know that I have such a loving group of family & friends!! I am so grateful to be full of such happy & fabulous memories! I've seen pics of friends & families who have since passed ( and wondering why so many in just the last few years! :( ), and it reminds me to always remember how important each & every person is, that comes in your life. Keeping the memories close to your heart is important in keeping their spirit alive, and never letting them be forgotten! It's tough to see your loved ones leave this Earth; but, we have to be comforted in believing they are in a better place. Whatever you believe Heaven to be, let it bring you the peace you need to be able to move on. I get teased for being "Ms. Kodak"...always have the camera! And granted, there's a lot of "not so good pics" in-between; but, you never know what moment you may appreciate later on. If you know that one picture may bring someone else a sense of comfort, than feel good knowing you were able to provide that for them! (that's my theory at least! Don't hate me for being Ms. Kodak & forgive me if I make bad judgement in deciding what I think is a good picture & tag you...ha ha! :}). I thought I'd post a few random pics of loved ones who have since passed on.
