We will never forget....

I hope everyone is taking time out today to think about our fellow Veterans; Past, Present, and Future, and how much they sacrifice for us!! I am certainly thinking a lot about my favorite Vet, my Handsome Pops, today!
 I felt such a sense of pride, while they so honorably, gave him the Military Tribute at his graveside.
I couldn't be prouder to call him my Father, and to be an American!
 To all of you Veterans....Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!!!

The 2012 Dance Competition Season

Our 2012 Dance Biz Soloists
First of all, in case you haven't heard me tell you a million times...I LOVE these kids! I'm sure I've said it before, and will say it again; but, what we love most about Dance Biz is that they teach these kids "the love of dance, and dancing from the heart" first & foremost. They teach them the importance of the sister/brotherhood that you can obtain with your Dance Family. They don't push them so hard to where it's not fun. They leave it up to the kids to push themselves...it's a matter of what they want out of it! So this year Kaley's theme was "80's Aerobics" (right up my alley...a girl from my own heart for sure! :}) Add shiny leotards/tights, legwarmers, the side ponytail...and we're good! :} Oh she is a cutie, if I say so myself!! :} I love how they kick off the season with the Dance Biz Mock Competition.
 Cute little sisters, Kiana & Maliah, doing a Duet together
 Sweet McKenzie
I just love watching the big girls with the little ones, they are so cute with them! :)
Marly had a sweet dance to a beautiful rendition of "Isn't She Lovely?"
"Barbie Girl in a Barbie World"
 Interesting that Jordan & Riley picked a Whitney Houston song to do a duet to this year!
 Kiana also doing a solo
How fun it was to see old friend, Mindy, here this day. I had no idea her daughter was dancing at Dance Biz! Last time I saw them she was only a few years old!
Tori doing a dramatic performance
Beautiful Dancers!
I love our Dance Biz Family! :}
Our "other daughter", Cheyanne, has really grown this year...so proud of her! :}
Cute lil' Abbie started doing Solo's this year. She's got some spunk! :}
Shyanne had a fun Hip Hop Routine
 Jordan also did a beautiful lyrical
Katie with a fun Michael Jackson routine
Riley makes a gorgeous dancer herself!
Everyone taking turns at getting to hold cuddly Gavin! :}
They all did a wonderful job & were ready for the season to begin!
No favoritism here; but, in all fairness, Kyra is Kaley's favorite Dance Sister! :}
Davey, another great example to the little ones!
Tori doing another Solo, allowing the emotion of the dance come through. She's got a heart of gold!
The Johnson Girls always amaze me!
The perfect routine for Sassy Lexi! :}
 Poor Kyra got injured right before the Competition Season again. She is recovering well from her surgery now, though I know it's been tough for her to have to stop being so active!
Emma is an adorable dancer, and fun to watch grow each year!
 Waiting to see who won the top prizes
Ms. Diane couldn't be prouder!
 And the winners are....(well, really they all are! :})
I love it when they get to dance for charity, like this night at the St. Josephs Villas Hospice Floor
 Competitions keep you very busy during the Spring! It allows you to get away a little though. We had some fun one on one time with Kaley.
 Abbie really came out of her shell with her dance, so proud of her!
There were definitely some fun routines to see along the way!
Kaley doing her thing!
The girls continuing to have fun together as a group!
 Oh this Baby sure gets a lot of love & squeezes! :}
  A couple of our beautiful teachers, Ambree & Kylie.
We fit in a couple of Team Competitions as well
The Newsies Girls
 Cuteness continues! :}

Seriously...I think this says it all! This is how Ambree found them back stage waiting for their turn to go on. Love this! :}

Kaley showing off her awards. I loved these Crystal Plaques (kind of nice to have something other than a trophy :}).
Cute Mom & Daughter :}
The teams got to do their "Gilligan's Island Production" for one of them
Kaley's team as "The Millionaire & His Wife".
Though it's fun to get the awards, I'm glad that Kaley understands it's not what it's all about! (as she reminded us when we asked what place she was going to take). Proud of our girl though...she worked hard to get her routine down!
Great job girls...you had another successful season & we are very proud of you all!
