Bouncin' Off The Wall

Recently, Kaley's good friend, Asia, had her birthday party at "Bouncin' Off The Wall". It's a place full of bouncy houses, slides, football fields & basketball courts. What a fun place for kids, and adults who like to play like kids! :} Kaley's other neighborhood friend, Kenny
...and Zoey A little air hockey is always fun too!
Our fun neighbors, Asia's mom & sister, Nicole & Edie (who was actually my brother, Glenn's, student at one time...small world! :})
Their cute family
The older girls doing the "running man" and being their silly selves! :}
Nicole was right in on the action!Well, of course I had to play too! :}
So we just had to be in the fun together! :}One more time! :}
The girls were excited to get time with Hailey too. They've missed her since she's moved away! Happy Birthday Princess Asia!
"Ummm, pizza & ice cream cake...I think we're in heaven!" :}
Why is it when kids open gifts, all the other kids have to swarm in as close as possible?! :}
How fast these girls are growing! Can't we slow them down just a little?!! :}

Farewell Party

While our friendship has grown with Lissa, so has our friendship with her parents, Cheryl & Tom. They are such a fun couple, great parents, and obviously live life to the fullest! What great examples they are to their kids (and their kid's friends, like us :}). They have recently decided to go live at their home in St. George permanently (and hey, this house of theirs in Sandy is for sale in case your looking :}). Fortunately it's close enough for visits; but, I know it's going to be hard on Lissa as they are there for her 24-7 when needed! I say, hey, great, now we have a place to crash when we're down there!! And fortunately we all communicate regularly on Facebook, so once again, moving away doesn't have to be quite as hard! (easier for me to say since it's not my parents that are moving! :}) Lissa & Paul threw a farewell party for them. I'll take any excuse to get together with them, and it was great to see Steph & Tyson again too!! :} Stephanie gave us all a big scare last year with a biking accident coming down the canyon. It was so good to see her & know she's doing well now!
Of course the girls just love to get together too, especially when it involves any dress up!

They had so much fun with the hammock!
Lissa with her step-daughters to be, Lorynn & Brenna. It's funny how her & Paul have dark hair & dark eyes, when all their girls are blond & blue eyed!
Cute girls! :}
Fun times! :}

If it's not football...it's dancing!

Not only is football in full swing, the new dance season has begun as well! I think we'll have our hands full this year since Kaley insisted that she not only continue the performance team and cheer; but, that she gets to do the girl's Hip-Hop class herself. I realize I am the one in control; but, she just loves it so much, I couldn't tell her no! (I know, I know, I'm a sucka! :}). This also means certain events come up that allow her to dance even more...like the halftime performance for Cottonwood High School. And since this is my old school....OF COURSE SHE WILL! :} It's actually a fund raiser the cheerleaders do & two of our friend's daughters are both on the squad this year (how fun is that?! :}), so we were glad to join them! She was also excited to dance with her other friends who also joined them: Jennica, Aleah, Madison & Bailey (and please don't ask me why she does this whole gangsta pose now...I have no answers! Other than the fact she gets it from her brothers!!)

Sandra's daughter, Talin, is one of the cheerleaders who got to teach Kaley's group. "....Nodding my head like this, moving my hips like that!...."OK, Maddy is so stinkin' cute...she was all in to it! :}
The girls getting their final practice in

Suzanne's daughter, Megan, cheering the crowd on!

How did they grow up so fast?!

It was so fun to be back at my old field! How many fun memories came back to me this night!

And I always thought we had the best view from our stands!! :}

Aleah & Jennica

Bailey & Kaley

"Party in the USA!"

The brothers being good sports: Tyler, Jacob & Dylan. Oh, cute boys, I love 'em! :}

Sandra & her daughter, Alira, who also danced in the show. This is funny really...as Sandra knows! :}
"No really, smile girls...we are happy loving sisters!" :} (they really are....we just all know how girl's/siblings get sometimes!! :})
Go Colts!! :}
Cute lil' Dylan having fun with Maddy. I love this about him, he is so good with little kids! :}
What a trip going back to your old school after so many years (I think I've been there once since I graduated 22 years ago!). Walking through the halls, sitting in the bleachers, thinking about what awesome classmates we had....good memories! I was a lucky girl...Cottonwood is the best!! :}
