Farewell Party

While our friendship has grown with Lissa, so has our friendship with her parents, Cheryl & Tom. They are such a fun couple, great parents, and obviously live life to the fullest! What great examples they are to their kids (and their kid's friends, like us :}). They have recently decided to go live at their home in St. George permanently (and hey, this house of theirs in Sandy is for sale in case your looking :}). Fortunately it's close enough for visits; but, I know it's going to be hard on Lissa as they are there for her 24-7 when needed! I say, hey, great, now we have a place to crash when we're down there!! And fortunately we all communicate regularly on Facebook, so once again, moving away doesn't have to be quite as hard! (easier for me to say since it's not my parents that are moving! :}) Lissa & Paul threw a farewell party for them. I'll take any excuse to get together with them, and it was great to see Steph & Tyson again too!! :} Stephanie gave us all a big scare last year with a biking accident coming down the canyon. It was so good to see her & know she's doing well now!
Of course the girls just love to get together too, especially when it involves any dress up!

They had so much fun with the hammock!
Lissa with her step-daughters to be, Lorynn & Brenna. It's funny how her & Paul have dark hair & dark eyes, when all their girls are blond & blue eyed!
Cute girls! :}
Fun times! :}

Cute post, Shauna! You are such a doll! BTW, the house that they are selling is their Sandy house. The Layton one sold last year. lol Maybe with them having one house it will be easier to keep track of! ;) We are so glad you and Doug could make it to their farewell, I know they appreciated it and enjoy your company! And YES that is the positive to their move, we now all get to go play in St. George!!!! And look at all of the blondie cute girls playing.. Love all these pics you captured!!! Hugs and loves sweetie!
