Summer BBQ

I suppose this could still officially be considered the "Annual Coleman Five 4th of July Party", despite "cancelling" it this year due to circumstances of life. But, we still just HAD to get together with SOME of our friends, especially ones like Sandra, who just got back from living in China. Or Daniella, who always makes the effort to be here each year no matter what state she is currently living in!  So, call it a party, call it a "Summer BBQ", call it whatever you want to call it. Sorry for those we missed this year (or to those who got the message it was back on too late!)...hopefully next year it will be back as usual, as this is something we enjoy doing each year! :} But, as always, still glad to get any friend/family time we can!
This is what happens when Bradon & Moses get a hold of your camera! :}
...and this is what happens when big brother picks on his little brother & friends!
(really, no actually punching was involved...atleast not that I know of!! :})
He does love his Mama, I know it! :}
I guess I could let Melissa know she was being spyed on through the fence now...ha ha! :}
Kaley still feeling the festive spirit of the 4th of July with her painted hair!
Kids seemed to be fine without the Bouncy Houses this year. They still had the water slide!
The boys trying some tricky basketball dunks (does it count though when they lower it so much? :})
And glad Paul & Melissa could join us...we just don't get to see them often enough!
There was some cool "action shot" going on here I believe :}

It still allowed me to try out the new flag cake pan I got from Avon

And since Daniella lives in California now, it gave her an excuse to take a road trip in her nice new ride!
..which of course we had to take a spin in!! :}
Thanks to those who did still come join us (sorry, I was in lazy mode & surprisingly didn't take many pictures this night.....me? I know!! :})

Summer Entertainment

And just like that...here we are, half way through our summer, and year for that matter, already! Seriously, time just keeps going faster & faster. No wonder it seems like my hair always needs to be colored now! :} Despite a few obstacles (like the A/C dying on us...BLAH!!....especially w/ temps like this week of 103!), we are doing our best to enjoy the sunshine & summer activities! Probably one of the best things for us is just getting to "chill on the patio" (which is happening much more while our house feels like a sauna! :}) & Doug cooking it up on the BBQ (or using his smoker here)
"Ahhhh......"
I do love seeing the flowers bloom (especially my favorite, the Lilly's here)...it makes for a peaceful setting in our backyard (and Lord knows we could use some peacefulness! :})
Lil' Ms. Kaley was very excited to finally get her chance to go to Millhollow Camp! (oh, what fabulous memories I had there growing up...glad our kids have all got the chance to go as well! :})
And we were glad she made it home safely! She went on for hours about her adventures & the fun they had. Literally kept talking until she finally just crashed her head down on the pillow! :}
Think I take enough pictures of her? If only she wasn't so cute!! :}
Gotta get the slide out for some water fun!
Our little hippy didn't want to wash out the red/blue in her hair from the 4th Celebrations!
Leave it to Dylan to do flips down the slide
...or add dish soap to make it slippier!
Of course we've had to get in some pool time!
Oh that Dylan...he's such a character!! :}
"But who's stronger?!" :}
We got to spend a day up at the "Park Silly Market" with some friends.
Park Silly is a Farmer's Market, with booths from all kinds of local vendors, that they do each weekend during the summer. It's a great family activity!
They have bands playing on each end.
We just had to go this day when one of our favorite local bands, "Joy & Eric", were playing!
Kaley enjoyed getting to try out the snowboard ramp
Dylan apparently was trapped by a feisty turkey! (and I'm sure he didn't provoke it WHAT-SO-EVER!!:)
Kaley was one happy girl when the face painter agreed to paint Spongebob on her face! :}
I'm liking Tyler's "U" too! :}
Oh, that's precious! :}
Park City is a great little town! I've always loved the Historic Main Street!
Oh, the joys of summertime...gotta love it!! :}
