Moments of Holiday Fun With The Friends

As hectic as the holidays can get, it's also the time of year we look forward to in spending fun times with family & friends!
.
One event is the Annual "Party at the Powell Palace". I worked with Steve at Fidelity & we've played softball together for years. He & Peggy are a fun couple & just live life to the fullest. I know I've talked about them before as we're always in awe of their Utes Shrine! (There is NO bigger fan I believe! :})
Kevin & Monica are also a fabulous couple & a great example to many. They've been thrown many obstacles; but, yet, have the best attitude & treat each other with such respect. Just love them! :}
And fun to see cute Alex, their daughter, who is also in our softball team. She has been pursuing her artistic talents in sculptures, which I just had to capture a few of my favorites. She's amazing...I hope the word can get out for her!

Great job Alex! :}

Another Annual event is the "Post Holiday Gathering" at Melissa's house. It's a great way to unwind after the hectic holidays! And I love any chance to see those long time friends we grew up with! Fun to see Jen, who now lives in Denver. And so glad to see Natalie doing so well after her tough year of fighting breast cancer!

Mel's oh so cute granddaughters :}

So glad Sandra & her girls could make it too! Despite her promising she would never move back to Utah, we're glad she's decided to give in and move back this year! :}

"Don't mess with Doug, Clayton!" :}

Talin teaching us the right way to do the "self poses" with the camera :}

The girls getting some movie time in. I love their nice kid size lounge chairs!

We were thoroughly entertained with the Wii between "Rock Band" & the "Just Dance" game. Well who knew Dylan was so good to be able to do it behind his back even! :}

Lauren was cracking me up! That girl has got some moves! :}

"Sing it Ryan!" (and Shane :})

Despite the fact there are two controllers, it didn't stop many others attempted to learn the dance moves. What a fun game!!

Go Boys! :}

It was a great opportunity to wish Natalie a Happy Birthday too! :}

How lucky we are to have such wonderful friends & to be able to stay in touch all these years!!

Fun, Fun, Fun!! :}
