We thought you might want to check out what we're up to (OK, mostly Doug; but, you know that means "WE" somehow :}). It's actually been in the planning for years...it's just a matter of finally getting to it. Doug's very articulate at invisioning things & drawing it out. I just hope the boys are ready for some hard work this summer! :} As you may recall, we had that bit of a slope in the back. Plus Doug has always wanted to put in a pond. So, we got the boys over Saturday who like playing with these toys for a living & there you go, we've got our space for the new patio/fire pit/BBQ & pond area on the other side. It's going to be very nice (and a lot of hard work!) & hopefully all the more enjoyable to sit outside & enjoy the fresh air (as long as we don't always have too many of the cold days like we've had this year!). We'll see how long it takes to get there; but, at least the main part is done & we can actually get to the building of it all. No problem...we'll just do that in our spare time! (hee hee...as if there is such a thing! :})

I love that you are showing pictures of the project. I've always loved what you guys come up with, and can't wait to see pictures of the progress.
I remember you talking about doing this. So exciting! I can't wait to see the finished product!!!
It's going to be so nice, I can't wait to enjoy the finished project. Will it be done in time for your annual 4th of July party? Good luck on all the hard work!
